Michael McKeown, owner and lead developer of Wine Country Web Services, is widely known in the local Napa Valley business community. Michael is active with the local chamber of commerce, is president of the business development organization 'Napa Success Connection', is president of Napa Valley Fly Fishers, and is a Mason in both the Napa Valley Lodge, Lodge #93 in St. Helena and Yount Lodge #12 in Napa. Michael enjoys fly fishing and works hard to preserve our fisheries through conservation and education efforts. Michael is an amateur astronomer and is a docent at Mt. Diablo state park for astronomy. He enjoys gardening, and is manager of the community garden Shelter Creek Community Garden, a community garden currently of 12 plots.
Michael says of himself: "My background is in engineering, and as a general 'tech head' I took to writing web site code easily. I particularly enjoy providing people with a web presence that helps them grow their business or organization, and allow them to communicate with their organization or the world easier."
Michael is at the top of the industry of web development. It is difficult to describe this high level of skill born of many years of experience and hundreds of web sites unless you have an opportunity to work side by side with him during the development of your project. His hands flying over the keyboard like a musician, writing custom CSS code to fulfill a customer request, manipulating a graphic to fit a particular spot, or writing a SQL call to perform a custom database operation, and usually doing all these things at once, multi-tasking while one operation is crunching or uploading working on another.
Michael, and Wine Country Web Services, look forward to the opportunity to help you with your web needs.
